I offer query assistance for:

• middle grade fiction
• young adult fiction

• narrative non-fiction
• memoir

I am interested in all genres of fiction, everything from lighthearted romance to literary fiction, realistic fiction to fantasy. I do not handle picture book or informative non-fiction queries.

My basic fee includes:

• thorough revision notes for your query letter
• a big-picture critique of your first ten pages
• thorough revision notes for up to two additional drafts of your query
• email discussions to help you develop your vision for your writing career
• assistance crafting an agent query list and formulating a professional, effective querying strategy
• ongoing email support, advice and pep talks as you query

We can also discuss fees for additional or "a la carte" services, such as:

• thorough revision notes for further drafts of your query
• detailed revision notes for your first ten pages, especially your first page and first paragraph
• help revising a synopsis

Please note, I do not write query letters for clients--I help them learn how to craft good queries on their own.
